When Leslie was a child his biggest dream was to become a famous music artist. But the upbringing in Seved, Malmö was tough and despite of his talent he fell of course.

15 years later, Leslie has risen to the peak of the Swedish music industry. He has been accepted in the rooms of high society.

But at what cost does one make a life journey from one side of the society to the other?

In this documentary film, director Stefan Berg follows Leslie Tay from the age of 14 to 29. From Malmö to Stockholm, and from the harsh environment of Sofielundsskolan to the Swedish Grammy award. A unique look at a persons life and struggles with over 14 years of documentary filmning.
